So, like I said before, I didn't really intend on using Arch Linux as a server. I was planning on spooling up another VM, provisioning it with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, and then just screwing around with Arch as a hobby kind of thing.

However, after further consideration, I don't really think I want to have to redo everything again. There's an element of laziness to this, of course, but I'm also curious how long it'll take for me to get frustrated enough with things breaking (or maybe not breaking) on Arch to keep using it as a server OS.

So...I guess this will be an ongoing experiment. If I encounter resolvable issues with updates, I'll document the steps here. If I break my server with an update, I'll post that here too.

Could be interesting, or it could frustrate me to the point that I drive a railroad spike into my skull. Only time will tell.
